I'm visiting Los Angeles for my first time. I just broke up with my boyfriend of 5 years. Mary is on a date with a guy she literally just met at a coffee shop as I'm walking around Santa Monica pier. Mary's really hot, so that all makes sense... Trying to accept this new sense of being alone, I decide to ride the ferris wheel for the sunset and have a dumb cathartic moment. I need it. Kevin sucks.
I get a ticket and go to the line, but I'm not allowed ride alone for "suicide safety" reasons. Seems.... ironic. No one in line offers to let me on with them because they are all couples who are trying to do second base stuff. Understandable. Finally, a mom and her two daughters let me on.

Our uber was $85.
When I got there I saw my crush and immediately realized how psychotic my behavior was, so I hid in a bush until he got on the tram and left. Coast was clear and the Carravagio on view was stunning.
